Citar:So, I’ve been swimming all my life and started swimming competitively when I was 6 and pretty much a swim suit can make or break you in the pool. For example, I spend over $200 on my usual full swim suit set so I will always swim the fastest that I can while adding comfort as well (professional swim suits can be very, very uncomfortable if you wear the wrong type) Even the stitching in the suit can change the way you move in slightest way, slowing you down or speeding you up.
The most common suit for professional male swimmers is the suit shown that Haru wears. It’s comfortable to wear, but often the swimmers who wear this have to shave their legs so their leg hairs do not slow them down (I’m saying Haru shaves his legs). These suits are usually worn by people who do freestyle and breast stroke, the fastest strokes. The full leg suits can be uncomfortable to wear, but they do work better when doing tougher strokes such as butterfly. Either one can be used for back stroke.
Haru is dead serious about picking which suit to wear because he wants to be able to move better and swifter while in the water, not because he’s crazy or he has OCD about swim suits. Many swimmers, such as myself, easily relate to this.
