Mas... É. É um desafio a sua capacidade mental jogar aquele último ton, uma coisa era ele ter 2,2,3 sou + leste e comprar o leste e ficar com 2,2,leste,leste na mão, outra é jogar fora um tsumo de yakuman. Ainda mais na posição dele na partida - aquilo garantia a vitória dele se ele defendesse depois e ninguém fizesse um oya baiman tsumo ou algo do gênero.

I am a big fan of high performance and solid averages. Particularly those related to last place avoidance.

Well, that happens, don't fret it. It is a game of risk-reward, and sure, you can get your reward or you can pay the price of your risk. What you should try to do from now on is increase the reward little by little while decreasing the risk.

Since all 4 top players will play a final match to decide who gets 1st place, I don't want to waste my time playing 200 games to get to the top of the list. I prefer to stop on 4th place, then win the final. I am, overall, lazy; and whenever I see something hard to do, I try to find a way to do it with the least effort possible, and put a lot of effort into finding that way. Haha.

I can see how it would be a bothersome thing to remake your post just to censor a name, can't really blame ya as I would do the samething, lol. I guess he just got too sensitive about it 'cause he's new to the game, so he probably doesn't want to be criticized too harshly... We all know the feeling. Maybe.

Yeah please do, we don't play really frequently but we do play at least a couple matches everyday. I'll be looking forward to when you suddenly pop out there, tho know that you may enconter the nothingness more often than not. What time do you usually play @7447? Will try to stalk you a little so I can get a match against ya.
About the last part, the issue is that this is a thing that is really hard to do, tho easy to say. This is what makes your score impressive, as a player I find it rather amusing the possibility of someone playing like this.

Indeed, it happens... Is the feeling that even if I know it happens and is more of a case of someone being way too lucky than me playing really bad (tho I don't think I play this well anyway) I just get frustrated over it, specially if it happens one after the other. I just have to deal with it and get more into giving up my hand completely and trying to realize damaten tenpais. I will get better at it, eventually.

This... Sounds awfully smart, tho really bothersome somehow, lol. Good luck staying in the top 4, tho you have the average to back it up. I'll be just competing in my mind with the people here and trying to get into the A league. I have to increase my average placement tho, if I continue as I am right now I'll be needing an awful lot of games to get to it...

Btw, I will try to go into the irc channel after the new year, I'm not going to be here for a while and appearing there to disappear at the same time doesn't look really good.

And it just happened that I found you, a game with bad hands and you were with this amazing luck, GG. Too bad I got the third place 'cause of the placement, that last hand was quite unfortunate, as I had just gotten in tenpai for a quick hand tho a bad wait...

Até porque um kan qualquer só te dá 8 fu, que dá 28 (30) fu quando bate, que dá na mesma de uma mão fechada, com o bônus da fechada de poder riichi que é 1 han a mais. Se ainda fosse dragão (16) ou dragão fechado (32), até dá pra engolir se você precisa de ponto assim, porque com um kan fechado de dragão e a mão fechada você tem um mangan de 3 han. O lucro de kans alheios é muito mais comum ser dos outros do que seu... E mesmo que seja seu, se atrasar a sua mão não adianta muito.
